Fisherman caught in rising water on the Arkansas River

A man is safe after rescue crews pulled him from the Arkansas River.

Just before 6 PM, Saturday, the Tulsa Fire Department was called for a rescue mission in the river near the pedestrian bridge at 31st & Riverside.

They say two men were fishing when the water started rising quickly. One man made it to shore safely a rescue boat picked up the other man down the river.
