One minor wreck on a Tulsa highway early Saturday quickly turned into a big mess for Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.
About 1 AM on I-44 troopers say a man in a pickup truck slowed down to help in a non-injury crash. Troopers say the pickup was rear-ended by another driver who steered to the inside lane and was struck by another car which then rolled over.
Two people were taken to the hospital and another was treated at the scene. Troopers say alcohol was a factor. While troopers tried to divert traffic onto 41st Street, another man who troopers say was also drunk, slammed into a semi that was stuck in the traffic. The highway was back open within an hour.
