Heavy rains inundate eastern and north central Oklahoma early Friday morning. Powerful storms swept through the area overnight bringing a lot of cloud to ground lightning and heavy rains.

Flooding closed a number of roads from Tulsa to Sallisaw, but most of those roads have since re-opened to traffic.

No major damage was reported, however fire crews were called out to a number of places to take care of downed power lines.

AEP/PSO says there was a number of customers in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow areas without service for a time Friday.
