(Omaha, Nebraska-AP) -- A monthly survey finds the Oklahoma economy is still growing.

The survey of supply managers and business leaders by Creighton University economist Ernie Goss found the state's economic index for June is 58.

That's down from 68 in May, but Goss says indications are Oklahoma's economy will grow during the second half of the year.

An index above 50 indicates economic growth.

Goss conducts the Mid-America Business Conditions Index survey each month in nine states. He says the overall economic index for the region is a strong 68-point-two.

States included in the survey are Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
