Tulsa Community College students have a new place to work out. The school's west campus dedicated its new student union and fitness center Tuesday. The 37,000 square foot facility cost more than $4-million.
It has a climbing wall, indoor track, basketball court and lots of exercise equipment. Tuesday's ribbon cutting was the last official act for retiring TCC President Dean Van Trease. "I wanted before I completed my tenure to have wellness and fitness centers on all the campuses and this dedication today completes that."
The new fitness center is for TCC faculty, staff and students.
