(El Paso, Texas-AP) -- The Tulsa Drillers continue an eight-game road trip Thursday with the opener of a four-game series at Midland.

Carlos Quentin homered and William Juarez pitched seven shutout innings Wednesday night as the El Paso Diablos beat the Drillers 4-2 to earn a split in their four-game series.

Quentin hit a two-run homer off in the fourth off Drillers starter Chin-hui Tsao to put El Paso up 3-to-0, then doubled and scored in the sixth to make it 4-to-0.

Juarez gave up four hits and two walks while striking out seven.

The Drillers scored two runs in the ninth off reliever Jason Bulger and loaded the bases with two outs, but Beltran Perez got Tony Miller to pop out to end the game. It was Perez's third save of the season.

Tsao gave up four runs on nine hits in six innings in his second rehab start for the Colorado Rockies' AA affiliate.
