Attention OU students. The cost of going to college in Norman is going up. Tuition and fees for in-state undergraduates will go up nearly 11% starting this fall.

That amounts to about $400 a student each school year. President David Boren says much of the extra money will pay for raises for faculty and staff. Boren says it will also help with rising utility and health care costs.

This won't be the only increase students will see though. Boren says he expects OU to raise tuition between 4% and 7% each year.
