A former Muskogee County court clerk and her deputy court clerk face embezzlement charges.

Adaina Riley is accused of overpaying her deputy, Rachel Napier more than $47,000 from June 1999 through December 2001.

Court records show Napier was sick and didn't work during the time. Riley resigned from office in 2002.
