Owasso Police shoot robbery suspect

A man, who's a suspect in a string of robberies in Owasso, is now hospitalized. Officers set up a sting at a gas station, and were there when Leslie Barkley walked in and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

He then took off in his pick-up truck. Officers shot out two of Barkley's tires.

And when Barkley couldn't go any further, he turned to carjacking. Attempted carjacking victim, Dena Gruenwald: â€œHe grabbed me and he pointed a gun to my head and he was yelling profanities at me. I was like okay, let me get out.â€

It's then that officers shot Barkley in the arm. There's no word on his condition.

The two officers involved in the shooting are on routine suspension pending the outcome of an investigation.
