(Oklahoma City-AP) - State math champions from high schools across the nation will be in Oklahoma City this week.
They'll be competing Saturday and Sunday in the U-S National High School Mathematics Championship. This is the second year for the contest run by the Oklahoma City-based American Society for Mathematics.
It will be held at the Omniplex.
The students arrive Thursday and will spend time touring the metro area Friday.
The individual champion will receive a ten-thousand dollar internship at the Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, California. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers.
