Oklahoma authorities say they're glad to see a booming business here, heading south across the Red River.

A tough new state law is driving "drug makers" into Texas to buy a major ingredient in methamphetamines. Wichita Falls Police say people are crossing the state line to buy pseudoephedrine, adding to a serious meth problem in north Texas.

Oklahoma’s law requires pharmacies to keep the tablets behind store counters or in a locked case. Customers also have to sign for pseudoephedrine, and show a photo ID.

Since the bill passed, officials say meth lab seizures are down significantly in Oklahoma. Texas has no such law.
