Tulsa Police are trying to put the brakes on a rash of overpass dangers. Police are investigating several cases involving objects being thrown from bridges onto moving vehicles.
One case involves Zac Millican of Claremore. He was traveling in a work vehicle along the Creek Turnpike when someone dropped a piece of concrete from the 51st Street bridge. He wasn't injured, but the vehicle has about $2,300 in damage.
“This is like playing a game of Russian roulette. It's not funny. It's not amusing. It's not something you do for fun."
Police say throwing something off a bridge or overpass could result in felony charges. If someone is hurt, or property is damaged, violators could end up with a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
