After further testing, Creek County jail officials say 18 inmates and one employee who tested positive for tuberculosis last week do not have the disease.

Everyone at the jail was tested last week after a man being held at the jail was taken to the emergency room and diagnosed with TB. A positive test doesn't mean a person has TB. Those who tested positive were given a chest X-ray, and all the tests came back clean.

Tuberculosis can be fatal.
