(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Improved tax collections could lead to a deposit of $200-million into the state's Rainy Day Fund.

That's what the state's Equalization Board was told Wednesday.

In recent years, the Legislature has tapped the fund for all kinds of programs.

But Governor Henry says he opposes spending the money on anything but an emergency. Henry says he supports a constitutional amendment on the November ballot that would further restrict spending from the Rainy Day account.

The governor says he'll keep an open mind about one-time expenditures, but would oppose spending from the fund on ongoing projects such as teacher pay raises.
