(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma Christian University is considering reviving its baseball program.

Oklahoma Christian dropped baseball after the 2001 season as part of a cost-cutting move.

Now athletic director Day Hays says he's confident baseball will return in a couple of seasons.

Former OCU second baseman and Carl Albert coach Chuck White has been hired to lead a task force that's to develop a plan for bringing back baseball. Hays says as far as he's concerned, White will also be the team's coach.
