Tulsa Police are investigating an auto-pedestrian hit and run accident at 38th and South Mingo, which sends one person to the hospital.

It happened just before 6 AM Tuesday when a man on a bicycle was clipped by a black sports car. The man was thrown from his bike as the driver of the car sped off. Officers say the bike rider has a serious injury to his leg but it is not life threatening.

Police gathered parts of the car from the scene as they continue their investigation.
