A head on collision on a Tulsa highway sends three people to the hospital early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:15 AM. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says an elderly driver got confused and was westbound in the eastbound lanes on I-44 near 193rd East Avenue. She hit another vehicle head on.

Three people were taken to Saint Francis Hospital, but emergency crews say none of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

At about the same time, the driver of a motorcycle was also injured when had an accident. It happened at US Highway 169 and 46th Street North.

The driver told official he tried to avoid a deer and lost control.

He's hospitalized with a broken shoulder.
