A handful of "dads" staked out the Tulsa County courthouse Monday to protest what they call "gender discrimination" by divorce courts in custody battles.
They say since Flag Day is a day we remember the fathers of our country, courts should give equal recognition to the role of fathers in kids' lives.
Greg Chapman heads up an organization that helps fathers fight decisions that keep them away from their children. "In my opinion, the parents are getting poorer, the attorneys are getting richer, and the dads still can't see their kids, is the bottom line."
The folks from "Dads Are Displaced" say children who live with their biological fathers are more likely to do better in school, stay away from drugs and have fewer emotional problems.
