Execution date set for child killer
(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A convicted child killer is to be put to death August 19th.
The state Court of Criminal Appeals set the date for Windel Ray Workman.
Workman was convicted of first-degree murder for the beating death of 2-year-old Amanda Holman in Oklahoma City 1987. The child was the daughter of Workman's girlfriend.
