A Green Country US Marine represented Oklahoma during President Reagan's somber State Funeral. 21-year-old Jeremy Mallard of Jay walked in front of President Reagan's casket as it was brought into the capitol building. [see highlighted red rectangle]

Mallard joined the Marines nearly two years ago and after boot camp, he was assigned to the presidential honor guard.

Mallard is in the back left position with the honor guard in front of the Presidential casket, a historic moment watched by millions of Americans.

Linda Mallard, Honor Guard Marine's mom: "It really makes me, I don't like to brag, but I'm proud, he's getting to do something he'll be remembered forever."

Mallard will guard over Reagan's casket today as well.
