(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma pitcher David Purcey and Oklahoma State third baseman Josh Fields are both first-round choices in Monday's Major League Baseball draft.
OSU catcher Jason Jaramillo was taken in the second round.
Purcey was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays with the 16th pick, Fields went to the Chicago White Sox with the 18th pick and the Philadelphia Phillies selected Jaramillo as the 62nd pick.
Purcey was 9-and-5 for OU last season with an ERA of 3.11. He struck out 130 in 118 and two-thirds innings.
Fields led OSU with a .352 batting average and hit ten home runs and drove in 47. He now must decide whether to sign with the White Sox or return for a final season as the Cowboys' starting quarterback.
As first-round picks, both Purcey and Fields could get a signing bonus of more than $1-million.
