(Haskell-AP) -- Two men from Haskell are dead today after their car went off a Muskogee County road and struck several trees.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Edward Bruner and 22-year-old William John died in the crash around 5 a-m today four miles west of Haskell.

The highway patrol says the car was going at an unsafe speed when Bruner lost control and went off the left side of the road.

Both Bruner and John were ejected in the crash. The O-H-P says neither was wearing a seat belt.

Troopers reported the odor of alcohol at the crash.
