(Denver-AP) -- Barry Bonds hit his 673rd home run and Jason Schmidt won his seventh straight decision, leading San Francisco over Colorado, 13-to-7. The game featured eight home runs, four by each team.
A-J Pierzynski and Dustan Mohr each hit a three-run homer. Neifi Perez also connected for the Giants.
Bonds hit his 15th homer of the year, a two-run shot in the fifth inning for a 4-to-2 lead. Pierzynski homered three batters later.
Luis Gonzalez, Todd Helton, Jeromy Burnitz and Vinny Castilla homered for the Rockies.
Schmidt is 7-and-2. He allowed two runs and struck out nine in six innings.
