A proud mom and dad have a very interesting story to tell. Their new baby daughter was born in a car along the Broken Arrow Expressway.

James and Amy Malaguti thought they would make it from their home in Broken Arrow to the Helmerich Womenâ€™s Health Center with no problem.

Little Gina Marie didn't want to wait. Amy gave birth in the front seat of their car on the way to the hospital. James Malaguti: "I kept on asking every five seconds. Is the baby breathing? Is the baby Ok? Is everything ok? Are you ok? Is everything Ok? I was freaking out. I was like Oh my Gosh, what is just happening, what is going on, I got a baby. Just gave birth in my car here. Oh man I was just trying to get to the hospital as fast as I could."

Mom and the baby are both doing just fine. Gina Marie weighs 7 pounds-7 ounces and is 20 inches long.
