Some Tulsans showed their support for the troops by tying yellow ribbons all around the Town Village Retirement Community at 8222 South Yale to get ready for Memorial Day.

They say that they want everyone who drives by to know how much they support the troops who are protecting us.

Nina Dochtermann says as a veteran's wife she's been tying yellow ribbons for years. "The ones that have gone and the ones who are still working for us, they're trying their best and there are a lot of them losing their lives. I would like to see them remembered.â€
