KAW CITY, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities on Sunday found the body of a 15-year-old Ponca City boy who drowned in Kaw Lake.

Steffan Reed had been walking around the bank of the lake before he jumped in and was caught by the current around 4:45 p.m. Saturday about 800 feet south of Kaw Dam, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Crews found Reed around 2 p.m. Sunday about 1/4-mile south of the dam in the Arkansas River, the highway patrol said.
