The state has reached a settlement agreement with three defendants in the I-40 bridge collapse.
The terms call for Magnolia Marine, Ergon Inc., and Joe Dedmon, the towboat captain, to pay the state $4.5-million. The state had originally asked for $58-million.
Magnolia Marine owned the towboat that rammed into the Webbers Falls bridge in May 2002.
14-people died in the accident.
