An investigation into a Delaware County daycare has shut the business down amidst allegations of sexual abuse and pornography.
The News on 6 has the exclusive details. It's happening in the small community of Kansas, Oklahoma, east of Tulsa. The claims of abuse first came up last Saturday. Investigators say two girls, ages 6 and 9, told their mother they'd been inappropriately touched and shown pornographic movies at the daycare.
The girls are among 10 children cared for at Evelyn's Daycare Center in Kansas, Oklahoma. After a four-day investigation, sheriff's deputies served a search warrant at the center. They seized a computer and a camera, then shut the business down.
Arrest warrants have been issued for the operators, Boyd and Evelyn Luper, whom authorities say have vanished.
The News on 6 talked with neighbors who say they're shocked at the allegations and described the Lupers as good people with two children of their own.
Authorities say there could be more possible victims out there. They now want to speak to the families of all children cared for since the center opened three years ago.
