A suspect is in the Tulsa County jail for Tulsa's 15th homicide of the year. Tulsa Police say he admitted he killed his ex-girlfriend.
Police arrested 26-year-old Christopher Roy after a lengthy investigation. 19-year-old Monique Mason was found dead in her apartment by her mother. She was shot once in the head.
Tulsa Police officer Scott Walton: "It had been several days since her mother spoke with her and the relative went to that location to check on her and it was that time she was found at the residence."
Investigators say Mason and Roy had a past relationship. Police say they won't release details about Mason's murder until the investigation is complete.
