Henryetta Police are investigating the discovery of a pipe bomb. Officers received a call last week from a woman who had found a shiny, metal cylinder 12 to 14 inches long near her house.

Troopers took the device to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol firing range and detonated it. Officials say the pipe bomb didn't have anything in it. But they say if it had been loaded it would have been powerful enough to kill anyone standing close by.
