(Tussy-AP) -- A 53-year-old woman from Ratliff City in south-central Oklahoma has died after being thrown from her Ford Explorer.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports Lois W. Dyer was eastbound on a county road in Garvin County Friday night at eleven when she ran off the road to the right.

She overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled twice. Dyer was thrown 12 feet from the Ford Explorer.

She died at the scene with head, arm, leg and internal and external trunk injuries.

The highway patrol reports she had been driving at an unsafe speed and she wasn't wearing her seat belt.

Dyer's condition prior to the crash is under investigation.
