The Red Cross is helping a Tulsa family displaced when fire swept through their apartment early Monday morning.

Firefighters were called to an apartment at 1420 South Quaker around 3:30 AM. Four people were inside when the fire broke out. They got out safely, but a small child was checked for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage could top $40,000.
