Four Oklahoma based companies have made the annual Fortune 500 list. The rankings are based on the companies' sales figures from reported financial statements in 2003.

The Tulsa based Williams Companies ranks the highest of Oklahoma's contingent at 98th.

Devon Energy in Oklahoma City was next closest at 268th.

Kerr McGee is listed at 412th with OG&E at 446th.
