Tulsa Police are trying to figure out why a man would shoot his mother to death. Officers responded to the Sand Dollar Apartments at 61st and Riverside at about 3:00 Saturday morning where they reportedly found 29 year-old Steven Miguel Moten standing over 53 year-old Elaine Drew's body.
She had been shot in the head. It took several officers to tackle Moten and carry him to a waiting vehicle.
Investigators initially believed Moten may have been under the influence of drugs they're also investigating whether he could have mental problems.
