(McAlester-AP) -- The McAlester Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person or people who robbed Robert Woolman on February 18th.
Woolman was beaten with a club when he returned home from his McAlester restaurant. He suffered a laceration to his head and broken bones in his hands. His wife, Glenda Woolman, says he also had to have surgery on one knee and is using a walker.
This is the second time in recent history the police department has offered a reward for information in a case.
In 2002, the department offered a two-thousand-dollar reward for information when 18-year-old Crystal Rose Ward-Peasha was reported missing. Her body was found about four months later near Mud Creek Bridge.
