The search continues for the suspect in what Tulsa Police think is a gang-related arson.
The fire happened at the River Chase Apartments in south Tulsa. Witnesses say just before the fire started, they saw a teenage boy running from the complex. Investigators say an accelerant helped the fire spread quickly.
Witness, Esther Perdo: "The fire the faster I could see the fire went up quickly and catch the next apt and I said lord have mercy on this place."
Victim, Charnay Kelley: "I thought I was about to die."
No one was injured. One of the residents had seen the suspect before, and described him as an associate. They also say they're not involved in gangs.
The fire caused about $50,000 in damage. Anyone with information should call the arson hotline at 596-2776.
