The Tulsa school board says Prentiss Elliot's suspension will be upheld. The decision was handed down at Monday night's school board meeting.

Elliott was suspended from the Tulsa School for Science and Technology last December following his arrest during a disturbance at a basketball game. A judge has ordered Elliott to stand trial for assaulting a police officer. So far, a court date has not been set.

This was Elliott's final appeal to the school board.
