(Dallas-AP) -- 8th-ranked Oklahoma State, Number 10 Texas, Number 21 Kansas and Colorado are the top four seeds in the Big 12 basketball tournament.
Colorado was selected as the fourth seed after Kansas defeated Missouri 84-to-82 to establish the final three seeds. Texas Tech is seeded fifth.
The top five seeds receive first-round byes in the tournament that begins Thursday in Dallas.
Eighth-seeded Iowa State will face ninth-seeded Kansas State, seventh-seeded Oklahoma plays 10th-seeded Nebraska and sixth-seeded Missouri faces No. 11 seed Texas A&M.
In Friday's quarterfinals, Oklahoma State will play the winner of the Iowa State-Kansas State game, Colorado plays Texas Tech, Texas plays the winner of the Oklahoma-Nebraska game and Kansas plays the winner of the Missouri-Texas A&M game.
