(Baton Rouge, Louisiana-AP) -- Houston is asking out of its September 11th football game at LSU in order to play at Oklahoma instead.

LSU officials say Houston will be released only if LSU can get a replacement.

Senior associate athletic director Dan Radakovich says there's a team on the table to replace the Cougars, but he isn't naming it.

Radakovich says if LSU can replace Houston, Houston will not be required to pay a $175,000 buyout.
