A young Tulsa girl was seriously injured in an auto-pedestrian accident. Tulsa Police say around 5 PM Thursday an 8 year old girl crossed the street to get ice cream from a truck.

The accident happened at 6203 South 28th West Avenue. As she walked back to her house, the driver of a pick-up didn't see her, and his side mirror hit her in the head.

The girl was taken to a Tulsa hospital, there's no word on her condition.
