A convicted murderer has gotten a last minute stay of execution. Hung Le was scheduled to die Thursday night, but Governor Brad Henry granted a temporary delay after a request from the Vietnamese government.
Le is on death row for a 1992 murder. The Vietnamese embassy in Washington DC wants more time to review the case. The US Supreme had refused to stop the execution.
Le's new execution date is set for March 23rd.
