DALLAS (AP) _ Texas senior Brandon Mouton was named Big 12 player of the week Monday after leading the Longhorns to a pair of victories last week.

In the Longhorns 77-57 win against Texas A&M, Mouton went 8-of-13 from the field to score 20 points, and scored 25 in the Longhorn's 68-63 win against Oklahoma. The guard from Lafayette, La., entered Monday's matchup against Kansas having scored at least 20 points in his past three games.

Oklahoma State junior Joey Graham earned newcomer of the week honors for the second time this season, averaging 24.5 points last week in two victories for the Cowboys.

The forward posted a Big 12 season-high 36 points in Oklahoma State's overtime win against Nebraska. Graham, a transfer from Central Florida, opened the week scoring by 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting in the Cowboys 65-52 win at Oklahoma.
