Five Oklahoma Air National Guard members have received one of the nation's highest honors.
Members of the 137th Tactical Airlift Control Element received bronze stars for heroic acts while under enemy fire. Military commanders say it's rare for one unit to recognize so many members.
All five citizen soldiers are based out of Oklahoma City.
