A female passenger of a small plane is recovering after a crash. The Cessna 182 was carrying a pilot and three passengers.

It had taken off from Sam Riggs Airport near Claremore when it crashed not far from the runway. The passengers were parachute jumpers. Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Ron Hamilton: "Upon take-off they lost engine power to make a landing and the wind caught the tail and forced it into a crash."

One person had to be taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital. The pilot and other 2 passengers were checked out at the scene, but were not seriously hurt.
