Tulsa Police are investigating the city's 5th homicide of the year. Investigators are trying to identify the body of a man found wrapped in a blanket in the 8500 block of East 21st Street.
His body was found in an open field. Police are trying to determine who the victim is, so they can figure out who might have killed him. Police have little to go on without the public's help.
Tulsa Police Sgt Mike Huff: "We have no idea what's going on here. I think the very critical information that we need is for people to call the Crimestoppers number or the police department emergency number and tell us some information about who this person may be."
Crime scene investigators are looking at tire tracks from the area to determine whether they belong to a truck witnesses say they saw there.
If you have any information about the victim or the truck, you're asked to all Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You can remain anonymous.
