Some Broken Arrow School teachers got quite a surprise Wednesday. The Broken Arrow Schools Foundation delivered $39,000 in grants to 61 BA school teachers.

Each year, teachers in Broken Arrow submit applications for grants that will impact the education of their students. This year, the grants will be used for math, science and many other areas of learning. BA 5th grade teacher Karla Dyess: "It's for an experiment on inventors to see how they relate to the real world.â€

The grants were made possible by the success of the foundations annual golf tournament.
