A convicted felon out of McAlester who's charged with kidnapping and assault is free on $60,000 bond.

Robert Wayne Schoggins faces six felony charges. Prosecutors say Schoggins held a woman against her will and beat her at his home last month. Days later, he allegedly forced that woman and another into a vehicle at gunpoint.

Schoggins was convicted in the 1990's on drug and weapons charges. Reports indicate he's currently on probation for another conviction.
