Tulsa's Mayfest organizers are having trouble getting the celebration off the ground.

Organizers blame a depressed local economy and competition from other events for not having any major funding for this year's downtown spring festival.

Mayfest leaders say they're still committed to having the festival. But say it will probably be scaled back considerably. So far, just $20,000 has been raised, far less than the goal of $110,000.
