(Mascoutah, Illinois-AP) -- Court documents show that bankrupt Great Plains Airlines of Tulsa owes MidAmerica Airport near St. Louis nearly $200,000 in unpaid bills.
Despite the debt, the head of MidAmerica Airport says he's looking forward to working with Great Plains once it emerges from bankruptcy.
Airport Tim Cantwell says he still thinks Great Plains is a good match for the airfield.
Great Plains suspended all flights when it filed for bankruptcy on January 23rd -- about three months after it began offering nonstop flights between MidAmerica and Chicago, Washington, Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
Bankruptcy court documents show the Tulsa-based airline owes its largest creditors a total of more than $3.5-million.
