(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A woman is dead and a man is wounded following an overnight police shooting after a car chase in Oklahoma City.

A second man is also in custody.

The names of those involved have not been released, but the officer is now on leave pending an investigation into the shooting.

Police say shots were fired and the woman killed when a car being chased by officers stopped in northwest Oklahoma city and two men ran from police. One of the men was wounded and treated at a local hospital.

The second man was arrested about an hour later, hiding about two blocks from the scene.

Becker says police are trying to determine if the men were involved in a robbery earlier in the evening at a restaurant in southwest Oklahoma City.
